About the role
- Leading LIC’s end-to-end Artificial Breeding supply chain. Focusing on logistics and customer delivery to enhance service excellence for New Zealand farmers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end supply chain, logistics and despatch function
- Ensure reliable delivery of Artificial Breeding products
- Work closely with Sales and Field teams to align demand, supply and execution
- Enable a full and on-time customer experience
- Lead 4 direct reports
- Provide national leadership across the AB supply chain
- Oversee Planning & Despatch and broader AB Support functions
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior supply chain and/or logistics leadership role
- Strong end-to-end supply chain and distribution knowledge
- Experience leading customer service or technical support environments
- Able to lead through complexity and seasonal demand peaks
- Strong stakeholder leadership across operations, sales and field teams
- Commercially astute with strong data-driven decision making
- Proven people leadership and team development capability
- Experience leading change and continuous improvement initiatives
