About the role
- Curriculum Alignment & Assessment Developer ensuring educational standards compliance at iCEV. Collaborating with educators and industry experts to improve curriculum alignments and assessments.
Responsibilities
- Analyze state, national and industry standards and benchmarks to ensure alignment
- Align iCEV content to relevant and current state/national education standards, industry standards or existing industry certifications
- Review and update alignments as needed
- Align materials for success in instructional materials adoptions
- Collaborate with educators and industry experts as needed in the development of alignments and assessments
- Develop assessments such as pre-test/post-tests to measure student growth
- Create assessments aligned to standards to facilitate standards-based grading
- Work closely with the Product team to integrate alignment and assessment strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Prior experience in the education sector or EdTech industry is a plus
- Proficient in grammar, spelling, punctuation and written English skills
- Ability to positively receive and respond to constructive feedback to improve the quality of work
- Must be able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
- Must enjoy a work environment requiring flexibility, self-direction, creativity, strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft® Office Suite, specifically Excel
