Responsibilities
- Developing and managing evolving SP Energy Networks Transmission project schedules through the Development and Delivery project lifecycle
- Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to provide accurate project scheduling information
- Identifying and communicating inter-dependencies and clashes while leading development of innovative programming solutions
- Assessing schedule risk within the portfolio and suggesting solutions to alleviate or mitigate risks
- Analyzing internal departmental and external contractor project schedules to advise the project team.
Requirements
- Previous experience scheduling, programming and planning large-scale projects is essential
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or possessing equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with planning software tools such as MS Project, Primavera (P6) and MSPe
- Good verbal and written communications skills with strong numerical and analytical abilities
- Understanding of project methodology, with experience in scheduling and reporting
- Conducting schedule risk analysis and working with stakeholders to agree actions.
