About the role

  • Communications Specialist managing local league communication and brand awareness for i9 Sports, a youth sports provider. Responsible for email communication, marketing, and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Program Directors to help manage the leagues.
  • Communicate with our members and grow brand awareness.
  • Manage day-to-day communication of the local leagues including email responses.
  • Perform some marketing responsibilities, coach recruitment, and various customer service duties.
  • Ensure the highest level of brand standards are executed and core concepts are continuously demonstrated.
  • Be available and follow up quickly to set us apart from other leagues.
  • Visit venues 2 Saturdays per month to interact with our customers in person.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication & organization skills.
  • At least one year of experience in Communications and/or Public Relations.
  • Experience with Google Drive, Word, and Excel.
  • Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems.
  • Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of participants.
  • Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships.
  • Ability to work a varied work schedule including some nights and weekends.
  • Able to work 15-20 hours a week, primarily Mon-Fri in the mornings or early afternoon.
