About the role

  • Finance Analyst responsible for the General Ledger and financial statement preparation in Phoenix, AZ. Supports timely reporting and financial operations in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the General Ledger and Month-end close and for Financial Statement preparation and reporting.
  • Reports directly to the Controller.
  • Supports the timely reporting of daily, monthly, and annual financial and operational data.
  • Gains broad exposure to financial planning, reporting and operational support, positioning for future leadership within the finance department.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in similar roles preferably including experience in a Plant Operation environment
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Understanding of standard costing principles and variance analysis
  • Ability to perform inventory valuation, reconcile inventory accounts, and analyze inventory movements
  • Experience with manufacturing KPIs
  • Proficient in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP)
  • Knowledge of capital expenditure tracking
  • Experience preparing financial reports, cost analysis and performance metrics
  • Understanding of internal controls, compliance standards and support for audit processes.
