About the role
- Director responsible for managing Energy Banking portfolio and mitigating credit risks in commercial lending through effective deal execution. Collaborating closely with relationship management and credit risk teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of upstream, midstream, downstream, and/or oilfield services clients
- Work closely with Relationship Managers as well Credit Risk in support of new deal execution
- Timely completion of portfolio administration activities
- Identify and escalate emerging concerns
- Attend client calls (virtual or in-person)
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market/industry trends
- Support training and development initiatives for junior colleagues
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 8 or more years of credit experience in a portfolio management / underwriting role in Energy and Reserve-Based lending.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Experience with syndicated, club, and bilateral commercial loans
