About the role
- Cloud Engineering Manager providing technical leadership and managing a team for designing and operating scalable cloud platforms. Focused on cloud architecture, infrastructure, and DevSecOps practices with a leading company.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and people management for a cloud engineering team
- Define and evolve cloud architecture standards, patterns, and reference implementations
- Lead the design and review of cloud‑native solutions
- Act as a subject‑matter expert for cloud networking and platform services
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of engineers
- Align cloud engineering initiatives with enterprise architecture and business strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of experience across multiple IT disciplines such as cloud architecture, application development, infrastructure, or operations
- Hands‑on experience designing and operating workloads on at least one major public cloud platform
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated cloud provisioning
- Design and governance of reusable IaC modules published via private registries and consumed through CI/CD pipelines
- Experience leading or contributing to DevSecOps toolchains and practices
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, and access management
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence across organizational boundaries.
