About the role

• Financial Controller overseeing the accounting team and financial health for Humanise. Collaborating with management to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational integrity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, train and retain the accounting team.
• Plan, lead and coordinate all operational accounting functions.
• Ensure the integrity of financial data required to accurately account for consolidated financial results.
• Assess and optimize existing administrative processes and internal controls.
• Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements.
• Coordinate external auditors' activities.
• Provide management with essential information to enable informed decision-making.
• Manage the budgeting process.
• Evaluate current accounting activities, recommend improvements and implement new processes.
• Assess accounting systems and internal control systems.
• Develop and monitor company performance metrics.
• Oversee regulatory obligations, often including tax planning and compliance.
• Oversee payroll.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• Professional designation: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation completed.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in accounting, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Industry experience: Experience in a multi-entity environment and in the professional services sector.
• Technical skills: Strong command of budget planning and financial forecasting.
• Languages: Fluent in French and English (bilingual).
