About the role

  • Commercial Lines Marketing Broker providing marketing support for commercial insurance placements in BC. Collaborating with producers and leading the marketing of a diverse portfolio of business.

Responsibilities

  • Provide marketing support for all types of commercial placements within the BC region
  • Partner with producers and the Chief Sales Officer to provide strategic marketing support for HUB Top 200 and key Stewardship accounts
  • Advise, mentor, and coach producers and servicers on market and coverage availability, policy wording interpretation, placement strategy, and commercial lines products
  • Collaborate with leadership and Sales to identify, develop, and launch niche coverage programs and specialty solutions
  • Represent HUB at carrier and industry events, including occasional off-site engagements

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial insurance experience at an intermediate or senior level
  • Active Level 2 General Insurance License (BC)
  • Demonstrated expertise in commercial lines marketing, placement, and policy wording analysis across a broad range of risks and industries
  • Established relationships with commercial carriers, MGAs, and Lloyd’s market participants
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
