About the role

  • Project Management – Manage end-to-end delivery of digital finance projects, ensuring scope, budget, governance, and quality standards are met.
  • Assessment & Solution Design – Lead the assessment of finance automation, AI, and analytics opportunities, design solutions, and develop business cases that demonstrate feasibility and sustainable value.
  • Technology Enablement – Oversee implementation of AI, analytics, and automation tools; collaborate with client IT and technology partners to ensure successful deployment and adoption.
  • Change Management & Adoption – Drive change activities to embed new ways of working and ensure client teams gain long-term benefit from digital finance solutions.
  • Business Development – Contribute to proposals, client workshops, and thought leadership; support Deloitte’s Digital Finance market presence.
  • Client Engagement – Build relationships with Finance leaders, helping them identify opportunities to apply digital finance to strategic challenges.
  • Innovation & Insight – Stay ahead of emerging trends in digital finance and bring innovative thinking to client projects and internal initiatives.
  • Team Development – Support the day-to-day management, development, and mentoring of junior colleagues.
  • Practice Development – Contribute to Deloitte’s internal Digital Finance knowledge, accelerators, and methods.

Requirements

  • Experience in finance transformation, consulting, or industry, with a focus on Finance AI, analytics, or automation solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of finance processes (e.g. Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, FP&A, and shared services).
  • Proven project management experience, including governance, risk/issue management, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex AI, analytics, and automation concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables.
  • Experience managing stakeholders, including exposure to senior Finance executives.
  • Familiarity with enabling technologies such as automation/RPA, analytics, or AI.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) preferred.
