Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination activities to support operational and project requirements within the oil and gas sector.
  • Identify procurement needs based on operational requirements and approved budgets.
  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers in line with company policies.
  • Obtain and compare quotations to ensure best value purchases.
  • Prepare purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
  • Support the Operations Manager in monitoring supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and quality requirements.
  • Assist in resolving procurement-related issues or disputes.
  • Track and report procurement activities for management review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
  • Vendor sourcing & management.
  • RFQs/quotations and negotiation.
  • Purchase orders & supplier follow-ups.
  • Coordination with operations/projects.
  • Procurement records & reporting.
