About the role

  • Account General Manager at HP developing strategies for key accounts in Greater China. Fostering relationships and driving business success with hybrid work solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop account plans and long-term strategies to grow HP’s market share.
  • Owns and coordinates account plans on large global accounts and focuses on value and/or volume portfolio management and selling a range of the organization’s offerings.
  • Manages account planning process through scheduled reviews and updates, identifies and builds growth opportunities, upselling, and cross-selling to the clients.
  • Demonstrates advanced level of subject matter expertise and applies consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities resulting in profitable revenue growth for the organization.
  • Evangelize HP’s Personal Systems, Print, Managed Service Solutions with hybrid work technologies, helping customers adapt to modern business needs.
  • Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level Executives.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers, maintaining a high level of customer loyalty, and develops a core understanding of their unique business needs and challenges.
  • Applies consultative-selling skills to uncover opportunities and deliver results that matter to customers.
  • Identify and drive new opportunities, managing a diverse and robust global sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate across teams and accounts to enable customer success and make a positive impact.
  • Drive global teams to maximize HP's success around the globe for the respective customers.
  • Achieves and manages quarterly, half-yearly, and annual quota and/or margin.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of commercial account management experience with a proven ability to manage large, complex deals.
  • Experience in driving global deals and working with global customers.
  • Experience in driving innovative solutions within a related industry.
  • Fluent English and Chinese language skills are required. Cantonese would be a plus.
