About the role

  • Media Consultant & Planner at Mediaplus developing media strategies across various channels. Collaborating with internal teams and clients to optimize media campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Tool-based creation of media plans and cost estimates for media activities across various channels, e.g., print, online, out-of-home, audio, TV, cinema – independently depending on the medium or in collaboration with our expert teams
  • Client communication, account management and day-to-day client consulting
  • Contribution to the development, planning and implementation of cross-media, integrated paid media strategies as part of our clients' advertising campaigns
  • Preparation of target audience and competitor analyses using industry-standard studies and tools
  • Preparation of presentations, reports and campaign documentation
  • Communication and coordination with media owners/publishers and other service providers (e.g., creative and PR agencies)
  • Cross-location collaboration with expert teams across the Mediaplus Group, e.g., procurement, billing, Research & Insights, Performance & Programmatic Media
  • Support in developing creative media ideas, first-mover implementations and new business projects

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, marketing, media management (or completed vocational training in a comparable field)
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in media planning and client consulting (cross-media) within a media agency
  • Project management and coordination of multiple stakeholders and departments
  • Analytical skills, strong numerical understanding and a structured approach to work
  • Strong affinity for digital media and associated performance metrics
  • Enjoyment of client contact and initial presentation experience
  • Experience with common planning and office tools
  • Advisory skills, team spirit, personality and commitment
  • Very good German and English skills
