Responsibilities
Act as the key contact for operational HR matters for local managers.
Implement HR strategies, guidelines and procedures aligned with broader business objectives.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation across all regions, providing advice and leveraging legal counsel when required.
Support managers in resolving HR issues, grievances and employee concerns through facilitation and mediation.
Develop and implement internal training programs aligned with business goals and employee growth.
Proactively manage ER/WHS issues, escalating major matters as required.
Enhance recruitment processes and optimise the use of ATS platforms.
Implement workplace culture strategies that promote communication, collaboration and engagement.
Implement systems, policies and processes that support performance and positive behaviours.
Manage and motivate direct reports.
Build team capability through coaching, performance development and professional support.
Ensure compliance with safe work policies and procedures.
Report incidents, hazards and near misses promptly.
Complete all required training and support WHS initiatives.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar HR Manager/ HR Business Partner role
Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or related field
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior leaders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational capability and attention to detail
