About the role

  • Marketing Manager responsible for developing measurable customer acquisition strategies for an AI startup. Collaborating closely with Sales, focusing on data-driven performance marketing across all funnel stages.

Responsibilities

  • Your role – become our growth architect
  • As Marketing Manager Paid & Performance (m/f/d), you will take a central role in our growth trajectory.
  • You will be our architect and strategic driver for predictable, scalable new-customer acquisition.
  • Your focus will be on turning marketing budget into a measurable pipeline — data-driven, efficient, and continuously optimized.
  • You will analyze target audiences, markets, and competitors and develop a holistic paid strategy across the entire funnel — from awareness through consideration to conversion.
  • You understand that performance marketing should not be treated in isolation, but as an integral part of our revenue strategy, tightly integrated with Sales and Customer Success.

Requirements

  • You have led performance marketing at scale — ideally in a B2B, SaaS, or tech environment — and can demonstrate measurable results (e.g., significant CAC reduction, budget scaling with stable ROAS, building a predictable pipeline)
  • You think in terms of revenue, not just reach. Pipeline impact, SQL quality, and customer lifetime value are your key metrics
  • You have carried real budget responsibility and scaled campaigns from validated tests to six-figure annual budgets
  • You build scalable performance structures, not just individual campaigns — clean setups, clear KPI logic, sustainable scaling mechanisms
  • Tracking is not a nice-to-have for you but a foundation. You understand attribution, CRM integration, and data-driven decision models
  • You make decisions based on data — quickly and pragmatically. 80/20 is a tool for you, not a risk
  • Testing is part of your DNA. You structure hypothesis validation, test aggressively, and optimize continuously
  • You combine creativity with performance thinking. Strong creatives and clear messaging logic go hand in hand for you
  • You proactively use AI and automation to create efficiency, scalability, and competitive advantage
  • You work entrepreneurially. You don’t wait for perfect conditions — you create them. You take ownership, don’t wait for briefs, and want to drive results with high outcome orientation
  • You communicate clearly, assertively, and solution-oriented — including with executive management, product, and sales
