Responsibilities
- Supplier management: Build and maintain strong, sustainable business relationships with suppliers; negotiate prices and terms to optimize our procurement.
- Project and process coordination: Contribute to the further development of procurement processes by integrating modern technologies and AI-based platforms. You will support procurement projects from concept to successful implementation and play a key role in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of our sourcing processes.
- Cost optimization: Develop measures for the sustainable reduction of procurement costs through effective strategies.
- Market and trend analysis: Monitor the market landscape and identify opportunities to optimize procurement strategy.
- Risk management: Identify and mitigate risks within our supply chains to ensure a secure and continuous flow of goods.
- Quality assurance: Ensure compliance with high quality standards through continuous inspection and monitoring.
- Reporting and KPI systems: Create and maintain reporting systems and KPI dashboards to monitor and control procurement processes.
- Teamwork: Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless integration of purchasing activities into the overall company strategy.
Requirements
- You have completed a commercial or technical vocational training or hold a degree in purchasing, business administration, logistics or another comparable qualification.
- You have at least 1–3 years of procurement experience, preferably with a specialization in the construction industry, and already possess strategic purchasing skills or are willing to develop in a strategic procurement direction.
- You demonstrate professional conduct in negotiations, as well as discretion and loyalty.
- You work independently and solution-oriented and have a strong commitment to performance.
- You are a natural communicator and team player.
- You are proficient in MS Office applications and the ERP system Business Central.
- You have negotiation-level German language skills, both written and spoken.
