About the role
- Senior Product Owner leading greenfield payment projects in a regulated fintech environment. Designing and delivering scalable, compliant payment solutions while collaborating with teams.
Responsibilities
- Own product vision, roadmap, and backlog for payment platforms
- Lead end-to-end greenfield payment initiatives
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into user stories
- Work with SEPA, instant payments, international transfers, and alternative payment methods
- Drive Open Banking initiatives under EU & UK regulations
- Define payment flows, message structures, and test scenarios
- Support functional, security, and compliance testing
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and manage cross-functional delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience as Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst in payments/financial services
- Strong knowledge of payment systems and flows
- Understanding of ISO 20022, XML messaging, and API integrations (REST, SOAP, webhooks)
- Familiarity with PSD2, GDPR, PCI-DSS, AML
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Experience with real-time or instant payments
- Exposure to clearing systems or central banking environments
