About the role

  • Area Sales Manager driving growth for Hitachi Energy in assigned region. Supporting sales organization and customers throughout the entire sales process for impactful results.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales organization to increase new and existing business.
  • Promote Hitachi Energy products through webinars, seminars, and presentations.
  • Influence customer specifications and provide expert product knowledge.
  • Collaborate on sales plans with FES, REPS, and account teams.
  • Analyze customer needs and competitor offerings to identify opportunities.
  • Prepare offers with technical and financial accuracy in coordination with bid teams.
  • Communicate value propositions and competitive insights to stakeholders.
  • Report monthly sales activities and propose recovery plans when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or business development.
  • Strong understanding of market analysis and competitor benchmarking.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage bids, proposals, and administrative sales processes.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications.
