About the role
- Senior Consultant in Software Asset Management at a consultancy firm with over 300 employees. Supporting clients in implementing and optimizing software asset management processes.
Responsibilities
- Accompany our clients from SMEs, DAX-listed corporations, and the public sector in the introduction and optimization of Software Asset Management
- Analyze clients' license management to identify optimization opportunities that improve cost-effectiveness and legal compliance, prepare software license inventories, and derive measures to improve license compliance
- Alternatively, focus on tool-centric SAM consulting: analyze client-specific requirements for building and expanding a tool-supported license management system, advise on selecting the appropriate SAM tool, and optimize tool operations
- Take responsibility for subproject leadership, technical coaching, as well as quality assurance and communication with our clients
Requirements
- Several years of professional and/or project experience in Software Asset Management
- Experience in contract/license management, software procurement, or experience configuring and implementing SAM tools
- Ability to explain complex issues clearly and approach problems in a structured way to develop solutions
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in German
