About the role

  • Cloud Engineer supporting incident response by developing and managing secure AWS cloud infrastructures. Collaborating with teams on incident response and security consulting tasks in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build, operate, and develop secure AWS cloud infrastructures using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Provision and manage Kubernetes clusters (e.g., EKS) and ensure their efficient operation
  • Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines, including DevSecOps checks
  • Support the Incident Response team in analyzing and remediating IT security incidents
  • Collaborate closely with clients and with DevOps, Security, and development teams

Requirements

  • Several years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes operations and security
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Analytical skills to structure complexity, clarify relationships, design concepts, and explain them clearly
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in German
