About the role
- Ingénieur Procédés overseeing testing and R&D operations for the food processing industry at Coperion in Rians. Key role in ensuring client satisfaction and innovation in processing technologies.
Responsibilities
- Optimize our test station at the Rians site: analyze existing equipment and optimize test conditions
- Conduct or supervise laboratory tests and trials: for R&D projects, pre-sales evaluations, or implementation phases
- Operate and optimize our test equipment and instruments
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies
- Evaluate and analyze test results: perform data analysis and reporting, with the aim of scientificising our processes
- Develop and improve test protocols and methodologies
- Act as the main contact for clients, sales teams and other group company teams regarding powder processing technology: engineering, calculations, risk analysis and testing.
Requirements
- Degree in Process Engineering or General Engineering (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of powder processing and associated equipment, preferably in the food industry
- Experience in a Test/Trials Engineer or R&D role with practical knowledge of test equipment, testing methodologies and data analysis
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and teaching skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues
- Ability to manage projects involving other teams across the Group
- Working proficiency in English (our clients are global)
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently
