About the role

• Ingénieur Procédés overseeing testing and R&D operations for the food processing industry at Coperion in Rians. Key role in ensuring client satisfaction and innovation in processing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Optimize our test station at the Rians site: analyze existing equipment and optimize test conditions
• Conduct or supervise laboratory tests and trials: for R&D projects, pre-sales evaluations, or implementation phases
• Operate and optimize our test equipment and instruments
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies
• Evaluate and analyze test results: perform data analysis and reporting, with the aim of scientificising our processes
• Develop and improve test protocols and methodologies
• Act as the main contact for clients, sales teams and other group company teams regarding powder processing technology: engineering, calculations, risk analysis and testing.

Requirements

• Degree in Process Engineering or General Engineering (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of powder processing and associated equipment, preferably in the food industry
• Experience in a Test/Trials Engineer or R&D role with practical knowledge of test equipment, testing methodologies and data analysis
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and teaching skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues
• Ability to manage projects involving other teams across the Group
• Working proficiency in English (our clients are global)
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently
