Project Engineer supporting technical aspects of construction projects with Bouten Construction Company. Collaborating with teams on documentation, reporting, and quality control in Spokane, Washington.
Responsibilities
Support project teams in managing construction project technical aspects
Process shop drawings, document control, RFIs, submittals, and change management
Assist project staff in coordination, scheduling, quantity surveying, and reporting functions
Work with Project Manager to establish cost reporting and tracking systems
Manage drawings, drawing records, revisions, and effectively communicate with trades
Take notes and issue meeting minutes for applicable meetings
Assist with preparation of bid packages and procurement
Manage submittal process, review, and distribution
Ensure operation and maintenance manuals are completed according to standards
Assist field personnel in managing quality control
Monitor and enforce safety standards in conjunction with project team
Review shop drawings and submittals for value analysis and constructability
Research construction problems and perform work sampling
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or other relevant degree
1-5 years project engineering experience with a general contractor
Commercial Construction industry experience preferred
Proficiency in project management software (Procore, etc.) and standard business software (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
