About the role

  • Drafter/Manufacturing Engineer at REV Group supporting Product Engineering with CAD models and drawings. Collaborating closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams to improve production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed drafting and CAD support for Product Engineers, including creation and revision of: 2D drawings, 3D models, Assemblies and part documentation
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams to identify production issues, inefficiencies, or improvement opportunities
  • Document required design or process needs/changes originating from manufacturing
  • Prepare clear documentation for proposed changes, including: Redlines, markups, and change descriptions
  • Support Product Change Notice (PCN) documentation and processes as required
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in a drafting, CAD, or manufacturing engineering support role
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor or similar)
  • Ability to learn and understand manufacturing processes and the documentation needed to support production and purchasing
  • Experience with drawing standards, tolerancing, and basic GD&T
  • Familiarity with engineering change processes.
