About the role

  • IT Support Technician providing technical assistance and support to users in Switzerland. Ensuring smooth IT operations with hardware and software troubleshooting across various devices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to 180 end-users via phone, email, or in person, utilizing a ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, peripherals, mobile devices, and other related IT issues.
  • Setup and configure various hardware: laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices etc.
  • Assist with the setup and deployment of new hardware and software.
  • Document support activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to improve support processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies (SOX- escalation procedures…) and security standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows), and software applications.
  • Familiarity with network configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Good communication skills in German and English; additional languages (French) would be a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and respond effectively to urgent and unforeseen situations.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
