About the role

  • Work Control Analyst providing technical support to engineers in various tasks at HII's Mission Technologies. Collaborating with teams in technical documentation and data management for naval projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
  • Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
  • Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).
  • Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided.
  • Conducts tests and records data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.

Requirements

  • AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 3 years of related experience, or HS + 5 years related (DoD/USN) experience.
  • Prior U.S. Navy experience specifically within Interior Communications (IC) systems and subsystems.
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience using ESOMS/eTag tag-out systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex system drawings and diagrams to establish system isolations in support of production.
  • Capable of collaborating in a team environment.
