About the role

  • Team Lead driving software engineering excellence and team culture for gaming solutions development. Leading a team to enhance product quality and stability in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • You lead a software engineering team (both technically and as the people manager) and continue to develop it through coaching, mentoring, and feedback.
  • You are responsible for the quality, stability and delivery of our desktop and web applications (including continuous improvement).
  • You work closely with stakeholders (e.g., Product, Operations, Reverse Game Engineering, Data, Marketing) and ensure clear priorities.
  • You establish and improve processes, standards and collaboration — without unnecessary overhead, but with tangible impact.
  • You bring our core values to life in day-to-day work: open, reliable, human and solution-oriented.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in software development (backend/full‑stack and/or desktop/web).
  • Initial leadership experience or demonstrable tech-lead/staff ownership (e.g., mentoring, architecture/system responsibility, delivery ownership).
  • Experience with agile ways of working and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills, clarity and empathy — you can provide direction, give feedback and resolve conflicts constructively.
  • Very good German and English language skills.
  • Experience with consumer products, desktop applications or scalable web systems.
  • Experience with metrics/KPIs related to quality, stability, delivery or product usage.
  • Interest in the gaming/entertainment sector (nice to have, not required).
