About the role

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Europe in tobacco & nicotine applications, with a strong focus on modern oral.
  • Build and execute a growth strategy aligned with the Business Unit’s objectives.
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
  • Provide technical customer support and manage customer projects in collaboration with specialist departments.
  • Attend international trade fairs and organize business trips.
  • Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and regulatory developments in the European tobacco & nicotine sector.
  • Translate insights into actionable opportunities for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with internal R&D, marketing, and regulatory teams to deliver tailored flavour solutions.
  • Participate in internal and external sensory panels to evaluate both in-house developments and market products.
  • Contribute to the development of segment strategies, product pipelines, and go-to-market initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of international B2B sales experience, ideally in the flavour, ingredients, or tobacco/nicotine industries.
  • Proven track record in developing and managing (key) accounts across multiple markets.
  • Strong acquisition skills, negotiation expertise, and proven track record in closing sales.
  • Ability to evaluate flavours and consumer tobacco & nicotine products from a sensory perspective.
  • Persuasive, communicative, self-confident, and ambitious personality.
  • Highly reliable, committed, and a strong team player with a passion for working internationally with people and products.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10-20%).
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Fluent in English & German; additional European languages are an advantage.
