Responsibilities
Support the service application product line and Hempel organisation on value propositions, commercial models, pricing structures and performance targets
Support the development of a commercially focused product roadmap based on customer insights, market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and segment strategies
Translate customer pain points into scalable, repeatable service application products that enhance coating performance and drive revenue growth
Lead cross-functional service application development initiatives with R&D, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to ensure successful launch, adoption, and lifecycle management
Build strong internal and external relationships to align commercial goals with technical feasibility and operational readiness
Identify and validate new service application opportunities that strengthen Hempel’s market position and support sustainability ambitions
Ensure commercial viability and scalability of new service applications, including business cases, pricing logic, and go-to-market plans
Continuously optimize the existing portfolio to maintain competitiveness, relevance, and profitability together with the technical part of Service Application
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Chemistry, or a related field
Proven experience in product management, service commercialization, or solution development within Marine, Energy, Infrastructure, or other heavy industries
Strong commercial acumen and a passion for building products that solve real customer problems
Ability to turn insights into actionable product strategies and measurable business outcomes
Experience working with diverse stakeholders and driving alignment across functions
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
A passion for creating customer value and contributing to a more sustainable industry
Experience with developing partnerships is a plus
