Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a forward-looking IT strategy to support company objectives, including evaluating and integrating new technologies
- Responsible for the provisioning, maintenance, enhancement, and support of all IT systems (servers, PCs, software, networks, peripheral devices)
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team while ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements
- Plan, manage, and monitor IT projects and budgets
- Create and implement IT policies, security frameworks, and backup and disaster recovery strategies, including regular testing to ensure effectiveness
- Communicate clearly and regularly with executive management, business units, and external partners to ensure effective IT service delivery
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent qualification with relevant further training
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a senior IT role, ideally in a manufacturing company
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead teams successfully
- Experience developing and implementing IT strategies
- Proven experience leading and successfully delivering large IT projects
- Hands-on mentality, strong problem-solving skills, and a strong service orientation
