Responsibilities
Responsible for new customer acquisition and the development of existing accounts
Acquire new customers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, and prospectively in other European markets
Build and maintain personal lead lists and proactively research relevant industries and target contacts
Manage the entire sales cycle: qualification, needs analysis, product demos, proposal development, contracts, and handover to delivery
Support kick-offs, internal debriefings and early project phases
Ongoing management and expansion of your customer portfolio, including up- and cross-selling
Conduct market and competitor analyses (SaaS, reporting, corporate publishing)
Requirements
Approximately 5–15 years of professional experience after completing your education
At least 2+ years in B2B software sales / SaaS or in business development with a sales focus
Several years of experience in B2B SaaS, cloud or software sales — ideally with a hunter mentality
Alternatively: sales background in corporate publishing / digital publishing / corporate reporting
Basic technical understanding (Dev / IT) and a genuine interest in complex software solutions
Very good German and very good English skills
Willingness to travel: 5–8 customer meetings per month in the DACH region
