About the role

  • Responsible for business consulting and support for Microsoft ERP solutions at Heartland Business Systems. Involves client management, training, and presales activities with a strong accounting background required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing business consulting, implementation, and support service activities focused on Microsoft ERP solutions and related third party products to Heartland’s clients
  • Address business problems by gathering information, analyzing, prioritizing and evaluating options
  • Train and support users using Microsoft ERP Solutions and related tools
  • Build and maintain strong, loyal, long term client relationships
  • Apply proper accounting standards in planning and design decisions
  • Develop general business and industry specific knowledge
  • Lead presales discovery and presentations
  • Create and maintain current vendor/industry specific certifications
  • Work in and always model a positive team atmosphere

Requirements

  • 6 years of experience working with operational accounting, product distribution and fulfillment, warehouse management, manufacturing, or other related business processes
  • 4 years of experience providing business consulting services, supporting business systems, or implementing accounting / ERP systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Ex: Word templates, Excel Pivot tables, SQL queries)
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting concepts and standard bookkeeping procedures
  • 4 years of previous experience working with ERP manufacturing modules (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (preferred)
