About the role
- Head of Product leading product team for innovative fitness software company, Hapana. Focus on product function management, cross-team collaboration, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- As Head of Product at Hapana, you’ll lead and grow the product team with a strong focus on people leadership, operating rhythm and high-quality delivery.
- You’ll be accountable for how the product function runs day to day: how work is prioritised, how decisions are made, how teams collaborate and how outcomes are delivered and measured.
- This role partners closely with Engineering, Customer Success, Sales and Marketing to ensure the team executes predictably, learns quickly and continuously improves the platform based on customer needs and business priorities.
Requirements
- 6+ years’ experience in product management, including 3+ years leading teams in a SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated experience hiring, coaching and developing Product Managers and building a strong team culture.
- Strong delivery management skills, prioritisation, planning, scope management and execution reporting.
- Proven ability to implement and improve product operating processes (Agile practices, documentation standards, governance).
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and comfort using metrics and customer feedback to guide decisions.
- Experience working closely with Engineering and cross-functional partners (Design, CS, Sales, Marketing).
- Familiarity with product tools and workflows (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and pragmatic use of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills able to align stakeholders, run effective forums and clarify decisions.
- Fitness/healthtech/wellness experience is preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Design, or related field is a plus (MBA/advanced degree a plus).
