About the role
- Senior Cloud Developer designing and maintaining data pipelines for supply chain analytics at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Collaborating with teams to optimize data performance and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
- Independently develops solutions for a project, including managing complex issues, by applying in-depth supply chain and industry knowledge.
- Interprets data received from more junior individual contributors and develops recommendations that optimize performance.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using AWS Redshift, Step Functions, Lambda, Glue, CloudWatch, and Apache Spark.
- Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses.
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Write and maintain Python scripts for data processing and analysis.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Owns strategic supply chain projects from planning through to execution and provides findings resulting from project execution.
- Consults with business leaders on a wide range of supply chain issues.
Requirements
- First level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
- Typically 4-6 years of experience in a supply chain function.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS Redshift, Lambda, Glue, Step Function, Cloudwatch, spark, python, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and high-level modeling tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; mastery in English and local language.
- Strong experience with ETL processes and data warehousing.
- Expertise in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong business acumen and technical knowledge across multiple business units, with an understanding of emerging trends.
