About the role

  • GreenLake Sales Specialist driving solution‑based sales for Hybrid Cloud Solutions at HPE. Building strong client relationships and generating growth across key accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect alongside Client Specialists, Account Managers and Digital Sales Representatives within existing accounts to identify and develop new solutions‑based sales opportunities
  • Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and demonstrate rigour in progressing opportunities through to closure
  • Develop and expand solution offerings to drive additional product or service attachments and upsell opportunities
  • Engage and operate effectively with channel partners to support sales execution
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business needs and industry challenges
  • Engage with clients up to IT management level
  • Contribute to pipeline growth by generating leads, referrals, and new customer opportunities in your specialty area
  • Work with internal stakeholders and industry experts to anticipate customer needs and shape solutions
  • Enhance sales readiness by sharing knowledge and reducing client learning curves within your specialization
  • Support driving contractual renewals for small to mid‑sized accounts

Requirements

  • Proven track record of achieving increasing sales quotas and managing diverse customer portfolios
  • Typically 3–5 years of experience in specialty or solutions sales
  • Strong understanding of key customer segments and how they interact with relevant products
  • Deep understanding of relevant products, services, solutions, and competitive differentiators
  • Ability to apply specialized technical and solution knowledge to qualify and prioritize leads
  • Strong consultative selling skills
  • Ability to assess both technical and business feasibility of solutions
  • Solid communication and presentation skills, especially with IT managers
  • Skills in product demonstrations, customer training, or product installation
