About the role

  • HPE Private 5G Sales Specialist leading sales in assigned territories. Collaborating with technical and sales teams to drive P5G business in the APJ region.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a sales territory in creating and driving their sales pipeline working collaboratively with HPE and Partner sales and technical communities.
  • Understand and execute the regional business development plan within the assigned territory.
  • Provide technical and sales support to HPE and Partner sales and technical teams to promote, propose and deliver P5G solutions.
  • Capture leads outside of specialization and follow up with closed-loop lead management.
  • Utilize deep knowledge of competitors to strategically position the company’s products and services.
  • Develop quota objectives and future direction for defined product category.
  • Establish professional relationships with clients, including C-level executives for mid-to-large accounts.
  • Create and maintain Salesforce opportunities and data to track sales revenues and report to managers.

Requirements

  • University or Bachelor’s degree / directly related previous work experience.
  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, diversity of business customer, and higher level customer interface.
  • Extensive technical and customer-facing sales experience within the 5G industry.
  • Typically 8-12 years of advanced technical and/or sales experience.
  • Knowledge of 4G/5G products, solution and service offerings as well as competitor’s offerings.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Technical stakeholders to define solution requirements and benefits of the HPE 5G solution for the customer, vertical or use-case.
  • Understanding of the industry and market segment of key accounts.
  • Account planning and accurate account revenue forecasting skills.
