Responsibilities
Work with our largest partners to drive the full portfolio discussion on CxO level and support their understanding and ability to offer our technology stacks
Coordinate with the Geo and ww sales and channel team to offer appropriate enablement, initiatives and support for our partners for a x-BU GTM approach
Work with the Presales teams to adopt the understanding of the positioning of the HPE portfolio with technical partner resources
Apply advanced knowledge of the company's portfolio, articulating proposals, and ensuring customer's business and technical needs are being met.
Provide input to address key end-customer IT trends, requirements, gaps, or unmet needs.
Communicate how the solution value proposition addresses customer business needs.
Track industry trends and emerging technologies (as well as competitor offerings and activities) leveraging this knowledge with the customer’s technical environment.
Contribute to industry developments through contributions (content support, presentations, demos, booth support) at conferences, industry events, and utilizing social media.
Participate in deep-dive discussions and articulate the value proposition, define key differentiators, and draft high-level solution designs.
Collaborate proactively with account team leadership (HPE and Partners) to develop and communicate key value propositions, negotiation points, and identify overlooked opportunities within assigned accounts; use expertise to lead the creation of complex solutions.
Proactively build the pipeline by identifying opportunities (e.g., enhancements, unmet or unrecognized needs, up-selling, and cross-selling opportunities) within the account.
Actively participate in sales forecast meetings and provide feedback to accelerate the sales lifecycle.
Develop and nurture professional working relationships with the customer technical teams and with key executives, based on an understanding of the customer's ecosystem, business needs, and how HPE can deliver value and business outcomes.
Proactively share knowledge with peers and help develop more junior team members.
Requirements
BA or BSc in Business / Marketing / Computer Science (MA, MSc, MBA a plus)
8+ years’ experience in Category Business Development / Sales / Marketing / Go-To-Market
Understanding of the Compute market, the alliance ecosystem, and the digital transformation needs across top verticals.
Ability to work in matrix organization, cross functional and virtual teams.
Excellent communication skills
Strong strategic planning skills combined with business management excellence
Business proficiency in English and German language.
