About the role

Responsibilities
- Support the technical management in organizing and controlling the entire technical department
- Supervise the ongoing operation of deep-freeze, refrigeration and HVAC systems as well as building services
- Provide technical leadership and professional development for the technical team at the Hamburg site
- Plan and carry out maintenance, inspections and repairs
- Perform fault analysis and troubleshooting on modern refrigeration systems
- Contribute to optimizing processes, energy efficiency and equipment availability
- Document inspections and maintenance in accordance with legal requirements
- Prepare shift, on-call and deployment schedules
- Coordinate external service providers and technical projects
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in refrigeration technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics, building services/utility engineering or a comparable field
- Ideally further qualification as a master technician/technician or initial leadership experience
- Practical experience in the maintenance of refrigeration systems, building services and conveyor/material handling systems
- Structured, solution-oriented working style — and the resilience to handle busy or challenging conditions
- Motivation to develop a team technically and to take on responsibility
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty and a hands-on mentality
