About the role

  • Director of New Initiatives responsible for launching startups within Wellhub. Focused on driving commercial strategy and operations while ensuring growth and wellbeing culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the "startup" business unit, owning the P&L and performance from initial hypothesis to scaled operation.
  • Drive the end-to-end value proposition, interacting with all Wellhub stakeholders (Clients, Partners, Subscribers) to ensure product-market fit.
  • Validate hypotheses for future growth opportunities by launching lean experiments and pivoting based on real-time data.
  • Design and execute new Marketplace like strategies, ensuring seamless integration with Wellhub’s global value proposition.
  • Navigate internal complexity by collaborating with Finance, Legal, and Product teams to remove blockers for your new business.
  • Build and mentor a team of "owners," fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and operational excellence.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with top-tier global wellness and sports brands.
  • Establish long-term strategic partnerships with highly engaged enterprise clients seeking brand visibility within the ecosystem.

Requirements

  • A proven builder with strong of experience in business leadership, venture building, or launching new products.
  • A commercial leader with a strong sense of ownership and a history of managing high-turnover business lines or P&Ls.
  • You possess an "intrapreneurial" mindset, comfortable building businesses with limited resources in a startup model.
  • A tech-native strategist who understands how to build and scale tech-enabled Marketplace organizations.
  • You are an autonomous leader who can navigate complex organizations and deliver fast value propositions.
  • A clear and compelling communicator, fluent in English to lead global teams and international partnerships.
  • A culture transformation agent who lives the mission by prioritizing your own and your team's wellbeing.
