About the role

  • Advertising Account Executive developing new ad partnerships for Guide Book Publishing. Engaging local businesses and ensuring client satisfaction through consultative sales strategies and relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and close new advertising partnerships to meet production goals.
  • Educate local business owners on the ROI of being featured in our community guides and directories.
  • Act as the primary liaison between your clients and our operations staff to ensure an excellent experience.
  • Nurture and maintain large-scale accounts within your metro area.
  • Manage contracts and paperwork accurately and return assignment materials via USPS upon completion.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of sales experience preferred (or equivalent education).
  • A self-starter who can manage their own schedule without being micromanaged.
  • Proficient in Excel, scanning, email, and PDF management.
  • Strong ability to calculate discounts and commissions accurately.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.
