About the role

  • Group Benefits Sales Representative driving sales and retention with brokers in the under 100 lives market. Selling Guardian’s Group Benefits products and maintaining key broker/client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Market, position, and sell Guardian’s entire Group Benefits portfolio products to designated brokers.
  • Support the general wellbeing of the broker and client relationship for the development and growth of Guardian sales.
  • Build, develop and maintain broker relationships to grow the book of business.
  • Be accountable for consistently achieving or exceeding personal sales production expectations.
  • Identify, recommend and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives to increase sales.

Requirements

  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to consistently achieve or exceed personal sales production expectations established by management.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to effectively build rapport in person and virtually.
  • Exercise sound judgement and integrity in a changing, matrixed, and fast past environment.
  • Exude confidence, positivity, and proactivity.
  • Act with accountability to deliver on commitments with speed and quality.
  • Must achieve required industry licensing within 90 days of date of hire.
