About the role

  • Account Executive for Guardant Health promoting Shield CRC test to healthcare providers. Collaborating with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance cancer screening initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership to shape go-to-market strategies
  • Promote the Shield colorectal cancer (CRC) blood test to healthcare providers in primary care
  • Achieve sales targets through effective prospecting and relationship-building
  • Target and engage healthcare providers, gaining their commitment to adopt the Shield test
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge and training to primary care practices
  • Work closely with clinical, marketing, and product teams to align sales strategies
  • Identify new business opportunities within your territory
  • Develop and execute business plans in line with brand strategies
  • Monitor competitive landscape and analyze market insights

Requirements

  • 4+ years in a customer-facing sales role within the healthcare industry (diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical sales)
  • Experience with diagnostic products, particularly blood-based testing or cancer screening products
  • Familiarity with the primary care landscape in your assigned territory is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in selling conversations, overcoming objections and aligning client needs with product offerings
  • Proven experience in planning and executing product launches in the healthcare or diagnostic space.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare provider landscape
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Veeva, or similar platforms
