About the role

  • Cost Accountant supporting decision-making and analytical insights for manufacturing operations at Greene, Tweed. Collaborating with various operational teams to drive informed financial decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted finance partner to Operations and Manufacturing leaders
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities throughout the month
  • Partner with Finance and Operations leadership to support enterprise-level decision-making and advance digital and analytical maturity across manufacturing
  • Analyze cost of goods sold (COGS), labor, materials, overhead, and inventory movements
  • Deliver timely reporting and insights to Manufacturing FP&A and operational teams
  • Reconcile inventory transactions and valuations
  • Ensure accurate valuation of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods
  • Prepare SAP for each planning cycle and maintain allocation models

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • 3+ years of cost or manufacturing accounting experience
  • SAP experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in a standard cost environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
