About the role
- Product Engineering Specialist leading new product launches at Grupo Boticário, ensuring effective integration of innovations in manufacturing while collaborating across departments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the industrial scope to operationalize the launch of new products, ensuring innovations are effectively integrated into manufacturing.
- Promote cross-department collaboration, ensuring production requirements are considered at all applicable stages of development.
- Maintain active and transparent communication with interfacing areas such as Marketing, Product Development, Procurement, Supply Chain/Planning, Industrial Operations and other teams involved in the process, connecting development efforts with industrial execution.
- Apply a systemic and strategic perspective to product development with a strong customer focus.
- Identify and address risks associated with the industrialization of new products, especially innovations, to ensure an effective transition from concept to production.
- Define and manage the industrial portion of project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and the financial feasibility of innovations.
- Conduct critical reviews of the progress of development and maintenance projects, capture learnings and drive continuous improvements with a focus on more efficient and sustainable processes.
- Ensure the ethical and effective exchange of technical knowledge, disseminating best practices within the team and across involved areas.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical, Production Engineering), Pharmacy, or Business Administration.
- Specialization in Project/Business Management or Production is desirable.
- Experience in product development and/or equipment projects.
- Experience executing and managing projects.
- Advanced English is desirable.
- Availability for occasional travel.
