Responsibilities
As Project Manager (m/f/d), you act as the client’s representative and contribute to interesting and diverse open space and infrastructure projects of strategic importance for the State of Berlin
You ensure professional project and construction management and, through transparent planning and implementation processes, enable the active participation of diverse user and stakeholder groups
Take on all project steering/control responsibilities as the client’s representative within the project
Coordinate and manage all project participants with respect to cost, schedule and quality
Contribute to project initiation and structuring as well as conceptual planning
Prepare and manage the tendering and awarding of construction and planning services in the role of the client’s representative
Ensure aesthetic, functional, sustainable and economical solutions from preliminary design through execution
Requirements
Successfully completed degree in open space planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering or a comparable qualification
Advanced knowledge in project and construction management as well as in project control, particularly in ensuring cost- and schedule-secure project delivery
Excellent communication and cooperation skills, with proven presentation and facilitation abilities
Knowledge of the procurement regulations of the State of Berlin (LHO, HOAI, VOB, VOL, VgV) as well as ABau and other discipline-specific regulations
Independent and process-oriented working style
Team and coordination skills as well as a friendly and confident manner
Confident use of MS Office (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project
English language skills are desirable
