Responsibilities
Ongoing reconciliation and collaboration with the tax advisor
Reviewing, preparing and ensuring the completeness of all accounting-related documents in BMD
Correspondence with authorities (tax office, customs, etc.)
Processing open-item (OP) lists, clarifying outstanding items and responding to queries from the tax advisor
Cash book management, including credit card statement reconciliation
Internal accounting and cost allocation (BMD)
Preparation of payment transactions and support with dunning/reminder procedures
Responsibility for accurate, complete and timely bookkeeping
Assistance with general administrative tasks in the finance department
Requirements
Completed commercial vocational training and professional experience in a comparable role (e.g., accounting, tax advisory, banking, gastronomy, hotel industry)
Strong numerical aptitude and an overview of cost centers and the interrelationships of affiliated companies
Interest in and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with different industries (including gastronomy, retail, tourism, real estate)
Very good IT skills; experience with BMD is an advantage but not required
Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
Accuracy, willingness to learn and a structured working style
