About the role
- Intralogistics Automation Engineer supporting the implementation of AGVs and automation solutions. Bridging technical and business stakeholders in industrial environments.
Responsibilities
- Consulting & Strategic Advisory: Partner with clients in manufacturing, intralogistics and warehousing to diagnose operational bottlenecks and define automation needs.
- Provide technical insights on AGVs, Intralogistics Management Solutions, and industrial automation.
- Technical Implementation: Conduct system simulations to verify configuration accuracy and refine automation logic before on-site deployment.
- Develop system configurations and document best practices for virtual environments.
- Integrate Fleet Management Software with automation systems and existing infrastructure using IIOT Gateway / Software.
- Support the integration of Fleet Management System and WMS/MES/ERP.
- Project Execution & Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and IT, to ensure successful automation implementation.
- Onsite deployment, integration and testing of Fleet Management System and AGV.
- Troubleshoot and optimize system performance to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Provide technical training and support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication & Presentations: Translate complex technical details into clear business insights for non-technical audiences.
- Conduct high-impact presentations, workshops, and system demos.
Requirements
- Experience in industrial automation, intralogistics, AGV and Fleet Management System solutions.
- Familiarity with IIoT and Industrial protocols such as Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, or MQTT (JSON Format).
- Knowledge of WMS, MES, ERP, or PLC/SCADA systems is a plus.
- English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced industrial environments.
- Experience with AutoCAD or other shop floor visualizing and simulation tools is a nice-to-have.
- Basic data visualization and Python scripting is a nice-to-have.
- Familiarity with API is a nice-to-have.
