Intralogistics Automation Engineer supporting the implementation of AGVs and automation solutions. Bridging technical and business stakeholders in industrial environments.
Responsibilities
Consulting & Strategic Advisory: Partner with clients in manufacturing, intralogistics and warehousing to diagnose operational bottlenecks and define automation needs.
Provide technical insights on AGVs, Intralogistics Management Solutions, and industrial automation.
Technical Implementation: Conduct system simulations to verify configuration accuracy and refine automation logic before on-site deployment.
Develop system configurations and document best practices for virtual environments.
Integrate Fleet Management Software with automation systems and existing infrastructure using IIOT Gateway / Software.
Support the integration of Fleet Management System and WMS/MES/ERP.
Project Execution & Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and IT, to ensure successful automation implementation.
Onsite deployment, integration and testing of Fleet Management System and AGV.
Troubleshoot and optimize system performance to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Provide technical training and support to internal and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder Communication & Presentations: Translate complex technical details into clear business insights for non-technical audiences.
Conduct high-impact presentations, workshops, and system demos.
Requirements
Experience in industrial automation, intralogistics, AGV and Fleet Management System solutions.
Familiarity with IIoT and Industrial protocols such as Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, or MQTT (JSON Format).
Knowledge of WMS, MES, ERP, or PLC/SCADA systems is a plus.
English communication skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
Comfortable working in fast-paced industrial environments.
Experience with AutoCAD or other shop floor visualizing and simulation tools is a nice-to-have.
Basic data visualization and Python scripting is a nice-to-have.
Familiarity with API is a nice-to-have.
