About the role

  • Intralogistics Automation Engineer supporting the implementation of AGVs and automation solutions. Bridging technical and business stakeholders in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

  • Consulting & Strategic Advisory: Partner with clients in manufacturing, intralogistics and warehousing to diagnose operational bottlenecks and define automation needs.
  • Provide technical insights on AGVs, Intralogistics Management Solutions, and industrial automation.
  • Technical Implementation: Conduct system simulations to verify configuration accuracy and refine automation logic before on-site deployment.
  • Develop system configurations and document best practices for virtual environments.
  • Integrate Fleet Management Software with automation systems and existing infrastructure using IIOT Gateway / Software.
  • Support the integration of Fleet Management System and WMS/MES/ERP.
  • Project Execution & Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and IT, to ensure successful automation implementation.
  • Onsite deployment, integration and testing of Fleet Management System and AGV.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize system performance to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Provide technical training and support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Presentations: Translate complex technical details into clear business insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Conduct high-impact presentations, workshops, and system demos.

Requirements

  • Experience in industrial automation, intralogistics, AGV and Fleet Management System solutions.
  • Familiarity with IIoT and Industrial protocols such as Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, or MQTT (JSON Format).
  • Knowledge of WMS, MES, ERP, or PLC/SCADA systems is a plus.
  • English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced industrial environments.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or other shop floor visualizing and simulation tools is a nice-to-have.
  • Basic data visualization and Python scripting is a nice-to-have.
  • Familiarity with API is a nice-to-have.
