Strategic Account Manager managing dealership relationships and driving dealer engagement with GM Financial. This position requires extensive travel and relocation to various territories in the US.
Responsibilities
Consult with various roles within GM dealerships and collaborate with many internal partners to represent GM Financial
Manage dealership relationships to drive dealer engagement, resolve operational issues, and promote GM Financial’s full suite of products and services
Maintain effective communication with dealers and appropriate internal partners
Conduct credit underwriting and assist credit centers in decisioning loans and leases as needed
Travel frequently to develop strong personal networks of business professionals within GM Financial and the automotive industry
Requirements
Leadership experience in the classroom, community or workplace; formal management experience is not required
Must have strong interpersonal and people skills
Must possess the ability to make consistent quality decisions independently
Ability to meet deadlines consistently and prioritize effectively
Ability to overcome rejection and setbacks
Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentation
Long-term mobility is beneficial for career development and advancement within the sales organization at GM Financial
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred, or extensive relevant experience
1-2 years of successful sales or prior credit underwriting experience preferred
