About the role

  • Join Gloucestershire County Council as Administrator Level 2. Providing vital administrative support in a hybrid working environment for the Education team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver flexible and high-quality business support to the Workforce Development Project in Education.
  • Setting up and maintaining a learning hub site using Umbraco, working closely with Communications, Education teams, and business support colleagues.
  • Coordinating content uploads, checking functionality, and managing training descriptions, videos, and site narratives.
  • Supporting project meetings by arranging, attending, and recording actions, updating project plans, and providing feedback to project leads.
  • Assisting with the development of training booking systems, coordinating pilot sessions, and testing new materials.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Strong ICT skills, including experience with Microsoft 365, online forms, Umbraco, and significant experience in website creation and administration.
  • A positive, collaborative approach to teamwork and the ability to build productive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, including schools, public sector services, NHS, suppliers, and government agencies.
  • Strong organisational skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • You’ll be solution-focused, proactive in chasing progress, and confident in updating plans and coordinating actions across multiple project streams.
