About the role
- Senior Product Manager responsible for the "Genius" ECR solution and " COMO" loyalty platform at Global Payments. Driving product strategy, lifecycle management, and ensuring commercial success in the German market.
Responsibilities
- Take full end-to-end ownership of Electronic Cash Register solution "Genius" and loyalty platform " COMO"
- Define and drive product strategy, manage complete product lifecycle
- Lead go-to-market initiatives and ensure commercial success of both products
- Analyze market trends, competitive offerings, regulatory developments, and customer requirements
- Align local roadmaps with group product vision and business goals
- Manage third-party suppliers and technology partners for both Genius and COMO
- Plan and execute product launches, updates, and campaigns in cooperation with Sales, Marketing, and Partner Management
- Define UAT scope, acceptance criteria and release readiness for both products
- Monitor KPIs such as adoption, transaction volume, loyalty participation, revenue, uptime, and merchant satisfaction
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in Product Management or Business Development for POS/ECR
- Proven success in launching and scaling cash registers in the German market
- Solid knowledge of retail processes, ECR integrations, ideally combined with loyalty systems
- Familiarity with relevant regulations (KassenSichV, BAIT/MaRisk, PCI DSS, DORA) and their impact on products
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to build business cases
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
