About the role

  • Product Manager responsible for the development and management of Pottencial's products from conception to delivery and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of users’ needs, wants and behaviors through user interviews, persona creation and idea validation to ensure products and their responsibilities meet user needs with quality, regulatory compliance and efficiency;
  • Monitor insurance market trends, including regulatory changes, technological advances and competitor moves, producing data to identify opportunities to improve and grow products in the market;
  • Design product improvement proposals that identify market gaps, analyze competitors, assess customer needs and define development priorities in order to maximize market performance;
  • Serve as the interface with Pottencial’s internal areas by coordinating and aligning with business rules, regulatory, finance and other departments;
  • Track tactical OKRs to identify, evaluate and validate insights that may represent new business opportunities or product improvements;
  • Co-own the P&L (Profit and Loss statement) and product results by continuously monitoring the performance of each product, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations regarding discontinuation, adjustments or portfolio expansion;
  • Work closely with development teams and other stakeholders to define clear, prioritized product requirements, ensuring the most important features and capabilities are addressed first;
  • Lead product validation and acceptance testing to ensure quality and that development objectives have been met as planned;
  • Provide quarterly recommendations to the prioritization committee on which product improvements and/or increments to prioritize;
  • Keep internal and external stakeholders informed about product progress, answering questions and providing regular updates;
  • Act in accordance with the company’s values and competencies;
  • Comply with legal requirements and internal policies by actively participating in training and reporting any potential deviations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or in product management;
  • Experience with end-to-end product development (from conception to maintenance);
  • Experience defining and tracking OKRs and performance indicators;
  • Knowledge of market analysis, competitive analysis and identification of business opportunities;
  • Experience interfacing with multidisciplinary areas (Technology, Commercial/Sales, Finance, Regulatory);
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of data analysis for decision-making;
  • Experience with agile methodologies
